These are nice. A little bit sweet, but with an oaty flavour. Pleasant chocolate - perhaps could have done with a little more, but it blends well with the oats to create an acceptable whole. My main quibble is the sugary nature of the biscuit.
41p for 300g (with points on the Lidl app I got 6p and 11p off, making them only 24p), so cheap enough.

These taste exactly as they are: buttery shortbread biscuits with some chocolate chips. Satisfactory and tasty. Nothing wrong with them at all. But they didn't rock my world. 99p for 150g - reduced by 15p to 84p with a coupon for having the app, and then by a further 26p to 58p for making enough qualifying purchases this month. That's quite a good deal! ;-)

Cous cous is so easy to make - you just pour on boiling water, stir and leave for five minutes or so. It's easy to add flavouring with a stock cube. However, it's also cheap and easy to use one of these packs which have a ready measurement of cous cous and come pre-flavoured. This was 35p for a pack. I added some chopped spring onions (also from Lidl) and some Lidl sardines (32p for the tin of sardines). All in all a quick, tasty and healthy lunch for two. The sardines were particularly juicy.

These are awesome! Really hard just to eat one. Oooh. Thick and chunky and sweet and wheaty and chocolatey. Yum. The whole family love these. Will definitely be getting these again. 99p for 200g - which makes them a 1p cheaper than Tesco's Chocolate Chunk Cookies, and 4p more expensive than Asda's Chocolate Chunk Cookies. Branded cookies, such as Fox's, tend to be nearly twice the price.
